EFX Chromatic Aberration

EFX Chromatic Aberration

This plugin allows you to apply (or remove) a chromatic aberration effect to a layer.

It’s a known workflow of splitting a comp into red, green, and blue channels, scaling one of them, and then recombining those channels to wrap a single effect.

The process of adding chromatic aberration is pretty straightforward if you’re doing it on a single image.

If you try to add it to a layer with an alpha channel and then composite it over a background image, you’ll have some trouble.

In this tutorial, you can see the different ways to solve this problem and how the plugin can help you with each one.
